Non-contesting – no more stress in those weeks before an important contest
Once a week – we rehearse on a Wednesday night
Own Bandhall – chairs, stands, library and percussion on one site
Instruments – we can provide instruments if needed
Beginners/Learners – we have a trainer band for those new to playing – get the whole family involved
We give about 10 performances a year at parks, fetes, and community events in Blewbury and surrounding areas. We rehearse new repertoire to performance standard and meet on Wednesday evenings (7.30 to 9 pm) in our own acoustically conditioned band room. We also run a beginners band on Sunday mornings - see the photo on the Recent Events page. Former players who feel that they need to brush up their playing are always welcome in the beginners band.
